There are many interesting places in Upper Arlington that are worth visiting. In this blog post, I will share what I feel are the most interesting ones. If you’re looking for a place to rest your head in Upper Arlington, the Reed Road Water Tower is a good option. The tower was built in 1904 and measures 14 feet square at the base and 36 feet high. The tower has an octagonal shape with eight sides and is made up of brick and stone.
Reed Road Water Tower was built by Daniel Rolph, who owned land on both sides of what was then known as Oak Street (now Reed Road), which ran east-west through his property. He used this structure to collect spring water that flowed across his property and into the Olentangy River via a ditch system he had constructed there.
